We are happy to announce the winners of our Open Call for Replication Potential, an initiative designed to identify forward-thinking organizations and initiatives across Europe that are ready to adopt and replicate BUILDSPACE’s cutting services. The call attracted strong interest from a wide array of countries, including France, Greece, Serbia, North Macedonia, Ukraine, and Albania, and we were delighted to receive such a high number of compelling applications. We would like to sincerely thank everyone who took the time to apply and share their ideas and commitment to more sustainable and resilient cities.
The selected winners represent a diverse range of sectors, from sustainable mobility and climate advocacy to regional planning, education, and digital innovation, and exemplify the diversity and innovation at the heart of the BUILDSPACE Project. Each organisation will receive tailored support to assess the replication potential of BUILDSPACE services in their local context, driving tangible impact on energy efficiency, urban planning, mobility, and climate resilience.
Participants were selected based on the criteria defined in Annex 1, combining compulsory eligibility requirements with qualitative assessment. Eligible applicants had to be legal entities established in EU Member States or Horizon Europe–associated countries, committed to sustainable urban development, and submit both an Expression of Interest and a signed letter confirming their intention to explore BUILDSPACE outcomes. Applications were evaluated on a 0–5 scale considering their interest in replication, proposed use of BUILDSPACE solutions, potential partnerships and available resources, as well as relevant experience and demonstrated impact in sustainable buildings, smart cities, or energy initiatives.
With these collaborations, BUILDSPACE continues to pave the way for a future where data-driven decision-making empowers cities to be smarter, greener, and more resilient. The project demonstrates how satellite data, IoT, and digital twins can transform the way we design, manage, and live in urban spaces.

These selected organisations build on the extensive work already carried out within the #BUILDSPACEproject, from the development of innovative space-driven services to the implementation of pilots across Europe that demonstrate the real value of data-driven decision-making.
